This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 23, 2008:
Yesterday I gave away a car. The day before that I bought a boat. Change is good.

Hmmm….makes me sound like a high roller doesn't it? The car was old, and a gas guzzler. I gave it to my step daughter, who has two small children and is stuck at home with no car when her husband is at work. It served us well, and i pray it does the same for them. My goal is actually to have NO car. The boat is no bigger than a bath tub. that is OK as I plan to use it on a very small lake.
What i am wondering is this …what is more valuable, a book or a boat? I guess it depends on what you do with it.
I like your thinking, I am carless from choice.. I love boats but we are boatless too!!!!
