Where would you go on a pilgrimage?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 30, 2008:
This is the 150 anniversary of the Miracle at Lourdes, but I do not think I would bother to go to France for that. My grandparents are buried in Ludington, Michigan, AND it is also the site where Pere Marquette died over 300 hundred years ago. The voyager that was with him testified that Pere Marquette cried out to Mary as he was dying, as if he was seeing her, and the voyager was cured of his illness, too. So, that is one place. The other is the city of my birtha nd baptism: Grand rapids. I think the point of going to either one of these places is to travle somewhere significant with real meaning in my own life.
